Seventeen galleries have joined the New Art Dealers Alliance, a New York–based group that presents an annual fair in Miami. The organization previously ran a fair in New York as well, and has replaced it this year with a program called “New York Gallery Open,” which is designed to get visitors to see work in art spaces around the city. Nine of the new NADA members will participate in that event, which runs from March 4 to 10.

Among NADA’s newest additions are Mitchell Algus Gallery, which last year celebrated its 25th year on New York’s Lower East Side; HOUSING, a self-identified “migratory gallery concept” devoted to showing artists of color that was previously based in Brooklyn; and A.I.R. Gallery, the storied Brooklyn space of 1970s feminist-art fame.

“Each of our new members exemplify NADA’s mission, and are great additions to our growing community,” Heather Hubbs, NADA’s executive director, said in a statement.
